If you drink bottled water, will I be getting enough fluoride?
If bottled water is your main source of drinking water, maybe you’re not taking enough fluoride.
There are a number of factors affecting the amount of fluorine taking:
- The level of fluoride in bottled drinking water varies greatly from brand to brand. If the fluorine content is not listed on the label, contact the company and ask what.
- The amount of bottled water you drink daily.
- If you use bottled water for drinking, cooking or preparing soups on and make juices and other beverages.
- If you also drink fluoridated water in the center where study or work, or elsewhere.
If most of the water you drink is bottled, you should consult your dentist about the possibility that you need additional fluoride treatments, especially if you have children. If the dentist thinks your child is not receiving adequate intake of fluoride, it may recommend fluoride drops or pills.
